Alejandro is a cheerful young barman at a five-star hotel in the heart of Paris. Despite his training and experience as an architect, his passion for service and genuine connection with people led him down this unexpected path.
If every color also had a taste, what would blue taste like? (Question from Armand)
It would taste like mint and mango ice cream.
A word to describe you?
Smile and sing.
Can you recall the last thing that brought a smile to your face?
Today, the last thing that made me smile was waking up and seeing the sky so bright, so beautiful, and so vast.
Can you name a book or movie that has significantly influenced your life?
If I had to talk about certain books or movies, I would definitely have to mention several, but one of the most important ones has been The Four Agreements by Dr. Miguel Ángel Ruiz. This book offers a way to see life simply, without complications, by following the steps the author outlines. He describes different situations where it is essential to stop overthinking, let go, and be free.
Another book that has also had a great influence on me is You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. In this book, the author explains that we have the mental ability to focus on the positive side and attract good things into our lives.

What are some uncommon skills that aren’t typically taught but can be invaluable in daily life?
I believe that adaptation is essential—something no one teaches you, but you learn along the way. It becomes an experiential learning process, the ability to be open to discovering, exploring, listening, and analyzing both the situation and the context around you. It’s about embracing the good and the positive while also reflecting on the negative and turning it into an opportunity for personal growth.
Have you discovered a new hobby or interest recently? What is it?
Everything related to baking fascinates me. In fact, I’ve started making many types of bread and cakes at home. I love discovering that I can make delicious things—although sometimes they burn (LOL)—and there are moments when they turn out really well.
What song lyrics always come to mind, and what do they mean to you?
A song I love is called “I Love the Lord,” and I simply love it because it makes me feel connected to my faith.

Where is the best place you’ve been, and why?
A place that felt truly extraordinary to me was La Paz, in Baja California Sur, Mexico. I remember arriving with my family at a pristine beach around six in the evening, with no one else around, just as the sun was beginning to set. Being immersed in nature and watching the sky shift from deep blue to a lighter shade was a simply mesmerizing experience.
Your current obsession?
Lately, I’ve been obsessed with living a super healthy lifestyle. I love trying new foods (as long as they’re healthy, of course), and the gym has basically become my second home. I’m on a mission to balance eating well, staying active, and enjoying the process. Health and fun go hand in hand!
If you could spend a day as someone else, who would it be and why?
I would like to be an airplane pilot to discover what lies beyond the clouds.
What’s your idea of a perfect weekend?
I think my perfect weekend would start by waking up around 10 AM in a place surrounded by nature. I’d enjoy a delicious brunch, spend time with my friends and family, and run around on the grass while the sun is shining and a nice breeze is blowing. I’d end the day by watching the sunset and having mango and coconut ice cream.
What question would you like to ask the person after you?
